2 Men Injured in Hemet Plane Crash at Stetson Avenue and Warren Road

Hemet, California (September 21, 2019) – Two men suffered minor injuries after a US Air Force plane crash Thursday afternoon last week in Hemet, according to a local news source.
The crash happened at about 3:20 p.m. Thursday, September 12, at Hemet-Ryan Airport, near South West Stetson Avenue and east of Warren Road.
As per the report, a 1965 Cessna 172F single-engine, fixed-wing aircraft, based out of March Air Reserve Base in Moreno Valley crashed for reasons still under investigation.

Responding emergency crews found two men self-extricating from the overturned aircraft. The men suffered minor injuries and were evaluated and treated at the scene.
The names of the victims were not immediately available.
Authorities mentioned that the plane was used for training purposes.
An investigation is underway.
