Hemet, California (April 2, 2019) – Motorists were injured in a traffic accident that involved a car and a mail truck in Hemet Friday afternoon.
The accident, which happened at around 4:30 p.m. March 29, occurred at West Latham and North Hamilton Avenues.
The collision involved a green Toyota minivan and a USPS mail truck. The officer’s dispatch indicated that the Toyota failed to stop at a stop sign and ended up striking the truck. Due to the impact, the mail truck overturned while the car was sent off the roadway.
At Least 1 Hospitalized after Hemet Crash
The collision resulted in minor injuries to a passenger in the involved Toyota car. The victim was transported to Hemet Valley Hospital for treatment.
The truck driver was not hurt in the crash.
One of the vehicles involved received minor side damage while the other one had front-end damage following the accident. Both vehicles were pulled away by the officers who are investigating the cause of the crash.
