Hemet, CA: Girl Hurt in Mini Bike Hit-and-Run Accident at Sanderson and Menlo Avenues
1 Hospitalized after Hemet Crash at Sanderson and Menlo Avenues
Hemet, California (December 29, 2020) – A 16-year-old girl was hospitalized after being involved in an alleged hit-and-run collision in Hemet Friday night.
The bicycle accident took place near Sanderson and Menlo avenues at about 9 p.m. December 25.
It was not immediately established how the girl was hit together with her male companion while riding a minibike at the Hemet intersection at night hours.
Hemet Accident Injuries 16-Year-Old Girl
The female bicyclist was rushed to Loma Linda Hospital for treatment of critical life-threatening injuries.
The initial report showed that the patient was treated for internal bleeding in her head, multiple broken bones ad lacerations all over her body.
Meanwhile, the victim survived with minor injuries.
The detectives handling the case are gathering more evidence to locate the involved motorist who fled the scene following the accident.
