At Least 1 Injured in Hayward Truck Crash on 880 Freeway near Winton Avenue
Hayward, California (December 9, 2019) – At least one person was injured after a traffic crash Monday morning in the area of Hayward, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The accident happened at around 10:00 a.m. Monday, on southbound 880 Freeway, just north of Winton Avenue.
As per the CHP officials, three vehicles including a semi-truck crashed for reasons still under investigation.

Responding emergency crews attended to the at least one person who complained of pain as a result of the crash. The name of the patient and their current condition were not immediately released.
Tow trucks were requested to remove the vehicles from the crash site.
A SigAlert was issued closing the lanes following the crash. The roadway was opened as of 10:43 a.m.
No further details regarding this crash were provided.
