Authorities Investigating Hayward Car Crash on 880 Freeway near Industrial Parkway Off-Ramp
Hayward, California (January 23, 2020) – The California Highway Patrol is investigating a multi-vehicle collision that happened Wednesday Morning on 880 Freeway in Hayward.
CHP officials said four vehicles collided at about 5:53 a.m. just north of Industrial Parkway off-ramp.
Details about the manner of the crash were not available.
Hayward firefighters alongside paramedics responded to the scene and confirmed that major injuries were sustained in the crash. The number of patients remained unclear.
Tow trucks were needed to remove the vehicles from the scene.
