Harry Gee Killed in Sonoma County Collision on State Highway 12 and Oakmont Drive

Sonoma County, California (April 4, 2020) – The man who was killed in a collision involving a tree trimming truck on Thursday morning in Sonoma County has been identified as 69-year-old Harry Gee of Daly City, according to the Sonoma County Sheriff-Coroner’s Office.

The incident took place at State Highway 12 and Oakmont Drive at about 7:30 a.m. April 2.

According to CHP, Tanner Robinson, 29, was driving the truck eastbound on SR 12 when he failed to stop for a red light and struck the left side of a blue Honda Civic that was making a left turn from Oakmont to westbound SR-12.

Gee, who was the driver of the Honda, was killed in the crash. 

Robinson was arrested on suspicion of DUI. He was booked into jail on a $100,000 bail.

The incident is under investigation.
