21-Year-Old Guadalupe Woman Killed in Gaviota Crash on Highway 101 near Nojoqui Grade
Gaviota, California (March 11, 2021) – A woman was killed in a rollover accident on Wednesday morning in Gaviota, authorities said.
The deadly single-vehicle accident occurred at about 6:45 a.m., on March 10, on Highway 101 at the bottom of the Nojoqui Grade.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a Lexus sedan, driven by the woman, traveled in a southwesterly direction, onto the dirt shoulder, down onto a dirt embankment and subsequently crashed into a tree.
Sadly, the woman was killed in the accident.
Further details regarding the accident were not immediately available.
The crash remains under investigation.
