Minor Injuries Sustained in Grass Valley Car Crash on Highway 49 at Young Mine Road
Grass Valley, California (December 29, 2020) – Minor injuries were sustained when two cars collided Monday afternoon at an intersection in Grass Valley, the California Highway Patrol said.
A silver Honda Civic and another unknown vehicle collided at about 5:15 p.m. on northbound Highway 49 at Young America Mine Road.
CHP said a driver called authorities reporting that another vehicle came wrong-way and side-swiped them.
Paramedics responded to the scene and confirmed that minor injuries were sustained in the crash. It remained unknown if anyone was hospitalized.
Officers blocked the northbound lanes of the highway around Young America Mine Road following the accident.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
