Major Injuries Sustained in 405 Freeway Collision near Devonshire Street in Granada Hills
Granada Hills, California (October 8, 2019) – The California Highway Patrol is investigating a multi-vehicle accident that happened Monday evening in Granada Hills.
According to CHP, the incident took place at about 7:49 p.m. on southbound 405 Freeway, just south of Devonshire Street.
Three vehicles were involved in the collision, authorities said.
An unknown number of parties sustained major injuries in the accident. An ambulance was dispatched to the scene to offer medical aid to the victims and transport them to the hospital.
Authorities shut down some lanes of the freeway until at about 9:12 p.m. as investigators worked the scene.
The cause of the crash will be established when authorities conclude their investigation.
