Minor Injuries Reported after Gold Run Accident on 80 Freeway and Drum Forebay Road
Gold Run, California (February 26, 2019) – Minor injuries were reported after a two-vehicle collision Monday evening in the area of Gold Run, according to a California Highway Patrol report.
The accident happened at around 6:27 p.m. Monday, February 25, on 80 Freeway and Drum Forebay Road.
As per the report, a van and a big rig crashed for unknown reasons. The van driver was pinned in the car after the collision.
An ambulance was sent to the scene to attend to the injured persons. The number of victims and their current condition was not immediately known.
Tow trucks were requested to remove the vehicles from the crash site.
No additional information concerning this incident was provided.
