17-Year-Old Girl Killed in Sonora Pedestrian Crash on Highway 49 near O’Hara Drive
Sonora, California (March 3, 2021) – A 17-year-old girl was killed in Sunday evening suspected hit-and-run crash in Sonora, authorities said.
The deadly accident occurred at about 5:30 p.m., on February 28, along Highway 49 near O’Hara Drive.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the girl was allegedly struck by a vehicle on the highway in unclear circumstances.
First responders arrived at the scene and aided the girl who was suffering from major injuries.
Sadly, the girl succumbed to her injuries at the scene.
