Gerardo Castro Injured in Motorcycle Accident on Old County Road in Templeton
Gerardo Castro ID’d as Motorcyclist Injured in Templeton Crash on Old County Road

Templeton, California (February 3, 2021) – Gerardo Jesus Castro, 19, has been identified as one of the two persons who were injured in a Tuesday morning motorcycle accident in Templeton, the CHP said.
The accident happened at about 2:10 a.m., on February 2, on Old County Road.
According to the California Highway Patrol, Castro, who was allegedly intoxicated, was operating a 2002 Yamaha motorcycle southbound on Old County Road.
Unfortunately, due to the high rate of speed, Castro was unable to negotiate the curve in the roadway, crashed into the front yard of a residence bordering Old County Road, and breached fences, the officials said.
As a result of the crash impact, Castro and his passenger, Alejandro Palacios Garibary, 19, were reportedly ejected from the motorcycle. They came into contact with multiple fixed objects.
Gerardo Castro Hospitalized after Motorcycle Crash on Old County Road
Both riders were injured in the accident and were hospitalized with fractures and various related injuries.
Castro was arrested for driving under the influence and felony hit and run.
The crash remains under investigation.
