Redding, California (April 16, 2021) – Authorities have identified the pedestrian who died after being struck by a vehicle Tuesday morning in Redding as Gerald Michael Webb, 36, of French Gulch.
The deadly pedestrian accident happened at about 5:30 a.m. Tuesday, April 13, on Highway 273 near Caterpillar Road.
According to the authorities, Webb was walking his bicycle across the roadway when he was hit by a 2010 Toyota Prius that was heading southbound on North Market Street.
