George Estrada Killed in Fontana Car Accident on Sierra Avenue near Baseline Avenue
Fontana, California (January 11, 2020) – A Fontana man was killed in a suspected DUI car accident that occurred on Friday night in Fontana, January 10.
The deadly collision happened on Sierra Avenue near Baseline Avenue just before midnight, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The authorities said a Mercedes was traveling northbound in the southbound lanes when it collided with an oncoming Nissan Rogue.
The driver of the Nissan, who was later identified as George Estrada, was killed in the accident.
The unidentified driver of the Mercedes sustained serious injuries in the accident.
The Fontana Police Department believes the driver of the Mercedes was driving under the influence.
