Gary Crawford ID’d as Motorcyclist Killed in Bakersfield Crash on Highway 99 near Highway 58
Bakersfield, California (February 11, 2021) – The Kern County Sheriff-Coroner’s Office has identified the man who died Saturday afternoon following a traffic accident in Bakersfield as Gary Dean Crawford, 61, of Bakersfield.
The deadly crash happened at around 2:22 p.m. Saturday, February 6 on Highway 99, just west of Highway 58, the authorities reported.
According to the CHP, Crawford was riding a motorcycle on Highway 99 when, for unknown reasons, he slammed into an SUV.

Paramedics responded to the scene and found Crawford suffering from major injuries. He was then taken to Kern Medical where he succumbed to his injuries on Sunday night.
Details regarding the SUV driver were not immediately available.
The accident remains under investigation.
