Gardena, CA: Pedestrian Injured in Crash Involving Multiple Vehicles at Main and 157th Streets
Pedestrian Injured in Gardena Accident at Main Street and 157th Street; 6 Vehicles Involved

Gardena, California (February 19, 2021) – Authorities are investigating after a pedestrian was injured in a traffic accident that also involved six vehicles Friday afternoon at an intersection in Gardena.
The California Highway Patrol said the incident was reported at about 3:30 p.m. at the intersection of S Main Street and E 157th Street.
As per the report, a tractor without a trailer, five other cars, and a pedestrian were involved in the crash under unclear circumstances.
The tractor possibly caught fire in the crash and broke its front axle.
Emergency crews responding to the scene said the pedestrian sustained minor injuries. It was not clear if any other person was hurt.
An unknown fluid was leaking from one of the vehicles but was contained, the report said.
At least one tow truck was needed to remove the tractor from the scene.
CHP is investigating the incident.
