Minor Injuries Sustained in Garberville Crash on Redwood Highway 101

Garberville, California (June 11, 2021) – Minor injuries were reported following a Friday afternoon three-vehicle crash in the Garberville area of Humboldt County, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The accident took place on Redwood Highway 101, just south of the Avenue of the Giants Southern Entrance, and involved a red sedan, a white Dodge pickup truck, and a semi-truck.
Details on what led up to the crash at this time are unknown, but CHP said the big rig and the sedan went approximately 50 feet over the side into a creek after the collision.
The pickup truck sustained major front-end damage and came to rest in the northbound traffic lanes.
