Woman Hospitalized After Fresno Pedestrian Accident at Effie Street and Ashlan Avenue
Fresno, California (February 26, 2020) – A pedestrian accident that took place in the area of northeast Fresno on Tuesday night resulted in critical injuries to a female party.
According to the Fresno Police Department, the major injury crash occurred on February 25 at Effie Street and Ashlan Avenue near Blackstone.
The initial report indicated that the accident began when the woman was walking down the center median of the highway shortly before 8:30 p.m. The female party then stepped into the path of an oncoming vehicle that struck her.
Fresno Police Investigating Major Injury Fresno Pedestrian Accident
The victim suffered critical injuries in the wreck. She was then transported to an area hospital by paramedics for further treatment.
The involved motorist stopped after the crash and cooperated with the law.
