Man Killed in Fresno County Bicycle Accident on Cedar Avenue and Kenmore Drive

Fresno, California (February 9, 2021) – A bicyclist died Monday afternoon in a traffic accident in Fresno County, according to a local news source.
The deadly accident took place shortly before 2:30 p.m. on Cedar Avenue and Kenmore Drive, authorities reported.
According to the authorities, a man was riding his bicycle eastbound on Cedar Avenue when, for undetermined reasons, he drifted into the path of a Toyota Camry that was traveling southbound.
The bicyclist ultimately collided with the Toyota Camry. The impact caused the rider to be ejected onto the front of the vehicle.
Deadly Bicycle Accident in Fresno County
The bicyclist sustained severe head injuries and was taken to a local hospital where he was later pronounced dead. His name was withheld pending notification of next of kin.
The driver of the Toyota Camry stopped at the scene and cooperated with the officers. Alcohol or drugs were not considered a factor in the crash.
The accident remains under investigation.
