Fresno County, California (March 17, 2021) – Four people were injured after a semi-truck struck a car Wednesday morning in the area of Five Points, Fresno County.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the major injury collision occurred at around 12:53 a.m. on the Interstate 5 Freeway near Highway 33.
The CHP said a semi-tractor trailer truck loaded with gravel crashed into the side of another vehicle on the freeway.
The impact caused the car to crash through a fence at a nearby feedlot.
Major Injury Crash in Fresno County
A total of four people were injured as a result of the crash. Two patients were airlifted to a hospital with major injuries, while two others were taken by ground ambulance to the hospital with unknown injuries.
The names and conditions of the victims were not immediately disclosed.
