Fresno County, California (April 19, 2019) – A woman and children were hurt in a collision between a vehicle and a big rig on Thursday afternoon in Fresno County.

According to a report by the CHP, the wreck was reported shortly before 5 p.m. April 18, at Kearney Boulevard and Dickenson Avenue.

CHP said a woman driving a sedan was at a stop sign at the intersection when she entered the intersection and was hit by a semi-truck.

The woman was unresponsive as she was being transported to Community Regional Medical Center, where she was treated for major injuries.

Children riding the sedan were also hospitalized for minor injuries. The other driver was unhurt.

CHP said alcohol and drugs were not factors in the crash.

The collision is under investigation.
