Fresno, California (July 1, 2021) – A motorcyclist died in a collision with a vehicle at an intersection in Fresno Wednesday afternoon.

The deadly motorcycle crash took place at approximately 11:30 a.m. at East Gettysburg and North Barton avenues.

The accident happened when a Honda pickup that was at a stop sign in the northbound lane of Barton, turned left onto Gettysburg Avenue in the morning hours. 

In the process, the motorcyclist heading eastbound on Gettysburg at a high rate of speed crashed into the driver-side door of the pickup truck.

Fatal Fresno Motorcycle Crash 

Sadly, the motorcyclist was declared dead at the scene.

As per the report, the truck operator was hospitalized with unknown injuries.

An investigation into the accident is underway.
