53-Year-Old Man Killed in Fresno Hit-and-Run Accident at Cedar and Floradora Avenues

Fresno, California (January 21, 2021) – A pedestrian was struck and killed by a hit-and-run driver Thursday evening at a Fresno intersection, according to a local news source.
The deadly accident occurred at about 6:30 p.m. at the intersection of Cedar and Floradora Avenues, authorities reported.
As per the report, the pedestrian, a 53-year-old man, was walking across Cedar Avenue when he was struck by a vehicle that was heading southbound.

Emergency personnel responded to the scene and performed CPR on the man. He was then taken to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead. His name was withheld pending notification of next of kin.
The driver did not stop to render aid to the victim and fled the scene. The suspect’s vehicle was described as a green or blue SUV or pickup truck.
Authorities are still searching for the hit-and-run driver.
