Fresno, California (January 6, 2019) – A pedestrian was injured after a traffic collision Saturday night at an intersection in Fresno, according to a local news source.

The collision happened at about 10:00 p.m. Saturday, January 5, at Marks and McKinley Avenues.

As per the report, a pedestrian was hit by a car for reasons still under investigation at the junction.

Emergency crews along with paramedics responded to the scene and attended to the victim who suffered injuries as a result of the crash. The victim was transported to the hospital for treatment.

Authorities said that the involved driver stopped at the scene and cooperated with authorities.
