Minor Injuries Reported in Fresno Crash on Highway 99 near Ashlan Avenue
Fresno, California (January 31, 2019) – Minor injuries were reported after a three-vehicle collision Thursday afternoon in the area of Fresno, according to authorities.
The collision happened at around 12:00 p.m. Thursday on northbound Highway 99, just north of Ashlan Avenue on-ramp.
As per the officials, three vehicles including a semi-truck crashed for reasons still under investigation.
An ambulance was sent to the scene to attend to the injured parties. The number of victims and their current condition was not immediately known.
Debris was scattered in the roadway after the crash.
Officials closed the lanes following the collision. The roadway was opened as of 12:44 p.m.
Tow trucks were requested to remove the vehicles from the crash site.
No additional information concerning this incident was provided.
