1 Killed in Fresno Pedestrian Accident on Kings Canyon Road
Fresno, California (September 25, 2020) – A man died following a pedestrian accident that happened Friday morning in southeast Fresno.
The fatal crash was reported at around 5:30 a.m. on Kings Canyon Road between Wintery and Chestnut avenues.
The male party was struck by an eastbound pick-up truck along the highway after he stepped out into the road.
Fatal Fresno Pedestrian Collision
The pedestrian died at an area hospital while undergoing treatment.
Officials shut down eastbound lanes of Kings Canyon road, at Chestnut to Winery Avenues, as they investigated and cleared the scene.
An investigation into the fatal accident is underway.
