Fresno, California (March 7, 2021) – At least one person was seriously injured in a two-vehicle crash that happened Saturday afternoon in Fresno, the California Highway Patrol said.

According to CHP, a white pickup truck and a white Toyota Corolla collided at about 1:23 p.m. on N Hughes Avenue, just south of Dudley Avenue.

The vehicles were blocking the roadway after the crash.

Emergency crews responded to the scene to find at least one person with severe injuries. An ambulance was requested to transport the victim to the hospital.

The report also said that alcohol or drugs might have been a factor in the crash.

CHP is investigating the incident.
