Fresno, CA: Fiery Single Vehicle Crash at E Gettysburg Ave and N Palm Ave
1 Severely Injured in Fresno Rollover Crash at E Gettysburg Avenue and N Palm Avenue
Fresno, California (February 15, 2021) – One person was injured in a fiery rollover crash that happened Sunday afternoon at an intersection in Fresno, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The incident was reported at about 2:43 p.m. at the intersection of E Gettysburg Avenue and N Palm Avenue.
The report said, for unknown reasons, an older silvery-blue boxy car hit a tree and overturned. The car caught fire after the crash and was also blocking the roadway.
The driver was still in the vehicle, and witnesses were trying to put out the fire.
Responding emergency crews said one person suffered severe injuries in the accident.
Eastbound Gettysburg at Palm was closed for an unknown duration following the crash.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
