Bicyclist Killed in Fresno Crash on Cedar near Brentwood
Fresno, California (February 8, 2021) – A bicyclist was killed in a Monday afternoon traffic accident in Fresno, authorities said.
The deadly bicycle accident happened at about 2:30 p.m. on Cedar near Brentwood.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the cyclist was headed eastbound on Cedar when he veered into the path of a Toyota Camry that was traveling southbound on the roadway.
The cyclist struck the front of the car and was ejected onto the front of the vehicle, the officials said.

The bicyclist was taken to a hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
Intoxication was not suspected of having played a role in the accident.
Five parties in the involved vehicle were not injured in the accident. They cooperated with the authorities.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
