Fresno, CA: CHP Investigating Minor Injury DUI Multi-Vehicle Collision at Tulare Avenue and Cedar Avenue

Fresno, California (June 1, 2021) – Three people were hurt following a multi-vehicle crash in Fresno Sunday night, according to a report by the California Highway Patrol.

The DUI three-vehicle collision happened near Tulare Avenue and Cedar Avenue at approximately 10 p.m. on May 30.

As per the CHP report, two vehicles were hit by a Mini Cooper near the intersection for undetermined reasons.

The Mini Cooper motorist and its 9-year-old passenger were rushed to the Community Regional Medical Center for treatment of minor injuries.

A second driver was also hurt in the crash but was not hospitalized.

The Mini Cooper operator was arrested and booked into the Fresno County jail for driving under the influence of alcohol

An investigation into the accident is underway.
