1 Injured in Buttonwillow Crash on Interstate 5 near Stockdale Highway

Buttonwillow, California (June 1, 2021) – One person was injured Monday afternoon in a traffic accident involving a Tesla car in Buttonwillow, according to the California Highway Patrol traffic incident log.
The crash was reported at around 1:07 p.m. Monday, May 31, on Interstate 5, just north of Stockdale Highway.
As per the CHP report, a blue coloured Tesla collided with a white sedan on the northbound side of Interstate 5.
One person was treated for minor injuries at the scene.
The crash prompted the closure of the northbound lanes of Interstate 5.
No other details were available.
The accident remains under investigation.
