Frankie Sanchez Killed in Bicycle Crash on Marshall Road near Tulip Avenue in Modesto, Jesus Antonio Flores Arrested

Modesto, California (April 10, 2020) – Frankie Sanchez, 51, of Patterson, has been identified as the man who died after being hit by a car as he rode his bicycle in Modesto on Wednesday, April 1.
According to a report by the California Highway Patrol, the fatal bicycle accident happened at about 7 a.m. on Marshall Road near Tulip Avenue.
Sanchez was riding a bicycle westbound on Marshall Road when he was hit by a 2003 Chevrolet Silverado driven by 20-year-old Jesus Antonio Flores.
Jesus Antonio Flores Arrested after Fatal Bicycle Accident
The authorities said Sanchez was killed in the accident.
Flores is reported to have fled the scene after the accident but was later arrested. He was booked at the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center on suspicion of vehicular manslaughter and felony hit and run.
No additional information was provided.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
