Francisco Deluna Killed in Car Accident on 15 Freeway near Railroad Canyon Road in Lake Elsinore
Lake Elsinore, California (January 9, 2021) – Francisco Deluna, 49, has been identified by the Riverside County coroner’s office as the man who was killed in a two-vehicle collision in Lake Elsinore on Friday evening.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened on Interstate 15 Freeway near Railroad Canyon/Diamond Road at about 11:10 p.m. January 8.
The authorities said a stalled vehicle was in the center divider and was struck by a pickup truck.
Deluna, a resident of Perris, was pronounced dead at the scene.
A second person who was involved in the accident was unhurt.
No additional information about the accident was provided.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
