1 Hospitalized after 5 Freeway Collision near Grapevine Road in Fort Tejon
Fort Tejon, California (May 24, 2019) – One person was hospitalized after a multi-vehicle collision that occurred Thursday afternoon in Fort Tejon, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The vehicles collided at around 4:28 p.m. on northbound 5 Freeway near Grapevine Road.
Reportedly, a black pickup truck lost control, crossed lanes and hit the center divider. The truck then crossed back into traffic lanes and collided with three other vehicles.
At least one person was transported to the hospital with unspecified injuries.
Towing services were requested to clear the collision scene.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
