82-Year-Old Man Killed in Fontana Scooter Crash on Arrow Route
Fontana, California (August 4, 2020) – An 82-year-old man was killed in a scooter accident on Monday afternoon in Fontana, police said.
The deadly accident transpired shortly after 2:00 p.m., on August 3, in the 13300 block of Arrow Route.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the man was crossing the street on a motor scooter when a white van struck him in the westbound lane.
First responders arrived at the scene and found the 82-year-old man lying in the middle of the roadway.

Sadly, the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
The involved driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the officials.
