Fontana, California (May 16, 2021) – One person was hospitalized Friday evening following a traffic accident at an intersection in Fontana, according to a California Highway Patrol report.

Just after 6:00 p.m. Friday, May 14, CHP officers received a report about the crash in the area of Almond Avenue and Arrow Route, near Foothill Boulevard.

As per the CHP report, a black Hyundai collided with another vehicle at the intersection of Almond Avenue and Arrow Route.

One patient was transported to Kaiser Permanente Fontana Medical Center with moderate injuries. The name and condition of the victim were not immediately disclosed.

The intersection of Almond Avenue and Arrow Route was blocked while the investigation and cleanup took place.
