Fontana Crash on 210 Freeway Near Cherry Avenue Injures 2 People
Fontana, California (May 18, 2021) – Two people were hospitalized after being involved in a traffic collision in Fontana Monday afternoon, the California Highway Patrol said.
The two-vehicle collision happened on the 210 Freeway east of Cherry Avenue at approximately 2:25 p.m.
As per the CHP report, a tan-colored sedan crashed with a white utility truck on the westbound side of the interstate under unclear circumstances.

The crash left two unidentified persons injured.
One of the victims was rushed to the Arrowhead Regional Medical Center for treatment of major injuries. The second patient was hospitalized at San Antonio Regional Hospital with moderate injuries sustained in the accident.
The collision resulted in the closure of the westbound 210 Freeway near Cherry Avenue for an unknown time.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
