Major Injuries Sustained in Five Points Big Rig Accident on W Mount Whitney Avenue near S Calaveras Avenue
Five Points, California (February 3, 2019) – Major injuries were sustained after a big rig collision early Sunday morning in the area of Five Points, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The collision happened at around 4:13 a.m. Sunday, February 2, on W Mount Whitney Avenue, just east of S Calaveras Avenue.
As per the CHP officials, a big rig and a gray Chevrolet crashed for reasons still under investigation.

An ambulance was dispatched to the scene to attend to the injured parties. The number of patients and their current condition was not immediately released.
Tow trucks were requested to remove the vehicles from the crash site.
