Madera County, California (December 20, 2020) – 19-year-old Parminder Singh, of Kerman, has been identified as one of the four victims injured in a fatal car accident in Madera County Saturday afternoon.

The deadly crash took place along Highway 145 at about 12:30 p.m.

A Chevrolet Cruze driven by Singh southbound veered off into the opposite lane before colliding head-on with a Lexus RX300 operated by a 31-year-old Fresno woman north on Highway 145.

Due to the impact, the Chevrolet caught fire after going off the east side of the highway.

1 Killed, 4 Sustains Serious Injuries in Madera County Crash 

A 30-year-old Madera man, riding in the Lexus as a passenger, was pronounced dead at the crash site.

Meanwhile, the female operator and another 31-year-old Reedley female passenger sustained major injuries in the wreck.

Officials said Singh and his 23-year-old Kerman passenger also survived with major injuries following the crash.

All four unidentified victims were hospitalized at Community Regional Medical Center for further medication.

The detectives handling the case are gathering more evidence to determine the cause of the accident.
