One Person Seriously Injured in Fairmont Park Pedestrian Accident on Home Avenue

Fairmont Park, California (March 28, 2021) – A pedestrian was hit and seriously injured by a vehicle on Saturday afternoon in the Fairmont Park area of San Diego, authorities said.
The major injury pedestrian accident occurred just after 3:00 p.m., on March 27, in the 4000 block of Home Avenue.
According to the police, a vehicle driven by a 19-year-old man crashed into a parked car before hitting the pedestrian and a second vehicle. The factors that contributed to the accident are yet to be established.
Pedestrian Injured in Crash Fairmont Park Pedestrian Accident
The pedestrian suffered a severe leg injury and was transported to a hospital for treatment.
The involved driver complained of pain. He was being investigated for possibly driving under the influence.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
