Motorcyclist Severely Injured in Fairfield Traffic Accident at Suisun Valley Road and Joyce Lane
Fairfield, California (May 5, 2019) –A motorcyclist was critically hurt after being involved in a traffic collision in Fairfield Saturday afternoon.
The Motorcycle accident was reported at approximately 2:34 p.m. May 4, in the area of Suisun Valley Road and Joyce Lane, near Glashoff Farms.
The California Highway Patrol report indicated that a pickup truck collided with a 2018 Harley-Davidson Roadster motorcycle at the intersection for reasons still under investigation.
Initial reports specified that paramedics responded at the scene shortly after the accident and attended to the injured motorcycle rider who sustained severe injuries. The injured party was then airlifted to Kaiser Permanente Vacaville Medical Center for further medication.
The identity and current condition of the injured party to this time have not yet been released.
The pickup truck involved sustained significant front-end damage following the wreck.
The collision also resulted in the closure of the highway while police conducted the investigation.
