Fairfield, CA: Major-Injury Car Crash on Highway 12
3 Injured, 1 Seriously in Fairfield Car Accident on Highway 12 at Beck Avenue
Fairfield, California (February 19, 2019) –Three people were hospitalized early Tuesday morning following a traffic collision in Fairfield, police said.
The accident happened at about 12:48 a.m. at the intersection of Highway 12 and Beck Avenue.
The California Highway Patrol said a sedan collided with an SUV for an unknown reason at the intersection.
A male occupant of the sedan sustained life-threatening and was taken to Kaiser Medical Center in Vacaville while two other men in the SUV were taken to North Bay Medical Center in unknown condition.
It was undetermined if drugs or alcohol were factors in the crash.
Police blocked both directions of westbound state Highway 12 during the investigation.
No additional information regarding the accident was immediately provided.
Authorities are investigating the cause of the crash.
