31-Year-Old Evan Dyer Faram Killed in Hollywood Scooter Crash at Sunset Boulevard and Vine Street
Hollywood, California (April 22, 2019) – 31-Year-Old Evan Dyer Faram has been identified as the man who was struck and killed by a vehicle in Hollywood early Saturday morning, according to police.
The collision, which was reported at about 3:00 a.m. April 13, occurred at Sunset Boulevard and Vine Street.
The police indicated that a pickup driven by 26-year-old Jared Walter Anderson failed to yield to oncoming traffic and struck Faram, who was riding an electric scooter in a marked crosswalk. Anderson was trying to escape from the police when the accident happened. He continued fleeing on the wrong side of traffic and collided with a pickup.

Faram sustained severe injuries following the wreck. He was rushed to the hospital where he was later pronounced dead. Anderson tried to flee from the second collision but he was arrested by the police in a residential area.
He was charged with vehicular manslaughter with gross carelessness and driving under influence. The crash remained under investigation.
