Eureka, CA: Man struck and Seriously Hurt by Vehicle at 4th and A Streets
Eureka Pedestrian Collision at 4th and A Street Sends 25-Year-Old Man to Hospital
Eureka, California (October 29, 2020) – A 25-year-old man was hospitalized after being struck by a vehicle Thursday evening at an intersection in Eureka.
The pedestrian collision happened in the area of 4th and A streets Shortly before 6:15 p.m., October 22.
The male party was hit by a vehicle while crossing the three lanes of 4th Street in the evening hours.
Police said the pedestrian was on a marked crosswalk at the time of the collision.
Officials affirmed the involved motorist did not stop to render aid and fled the scene. However, the suspect called the police when he reached home.
Major Injury Pedestrian Accident
The unidentified victim was rushed to an area hospital by paramedics for treatment of serious injuries.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
