Elderly Couple, Pregnant Woman Injured in Escondido Car Crash on North Center City Parkway and Country Club Lane
Escondido, California (September 28, 2019) – A pregnant woman and an elderly couple were among four people hospitalized after a multi-vehicle collision on Friday morning in Escondido, according to the authorities.
The incident happened at about 11:30 a.m. September 27, at North Center City Parkway and Country Club Lane.
Authorities said three cars collided near the intersection and the impact caused a silver Kia to flip on its side.
Pregnant Woman Among Four Hurt in Escondido Car Crash
An elderly couple riding in the Kia was extricated by firefighters. The two were taken to a hospital for treatment.
A woman pregnant with triplets was in another vehicle and was taken to the hospital for evaluation.
A fourth person was also taken to the hospital. None of the patients sustained serious injuries.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
