Minor Injuries Reported in Escondido Crash on 15 Freeway near Deer Springs

Escondido, California (February 6, 2019) – Minor injuries were reported after a two-vehicle collision Tuesday night in the area of Escondido, according to a California Highway Patrol report.
The collision happened at around 10:46 p.m. Tuesday, February 5, on 15 Freeway, just south of Deer Springs.
As per the CHP officials, two vehicles crashed for reasons still under investigation. One of the vehicles overturned following the collision.
An ambulance was sent to the scene to attend to the injured parties. The number of victims and their current condition was not immediately known.
Tow trucks were requested to remove the cars from the crash site.
Officials blocked one lane following the collision.
No additional information concerning this incident was provided.
An investigation is ongoing.
