Selma, California (September 4, 2019) – The authorities have disclosed the identities of two people who died after their car was struck by a train in Selma last month on August 21.
According to a local news source, the accident happened at about 10:30 a.m. in the area of Golden State Boulevard and Highland Avenue.
As per the report, 65-year-old Richard Ruiz and 64-year-old Escolastica Andres were driving an SUV when they became stuck between railway crossing arms and were struck by a Union Pacific train.
