Escalon, California (June 14, 2021) – One person was hospitalized Saturday afternoon following a traffic collision at an intersection in Escalon, according to a California Highway Patrol report.
The major injury collision, which involved two vehicles, happened at around 3:05 p.m. Saturday, June 12, at the intersection of Steinegul Road and Lone Tree Road.
The CHP report states that a Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck and a Nissan Maxima collided at the Escalon intersection.

One person was trapped in their vehicle and had to be extricated by firefighters. The victim was then taken to a local hospital with major injuries.
The crash prompted the officers to temporarily closed the intersection of Steinegul Road and Lone Tree Road.
The accident remains under investigation.
