Elva Andrade Identified as Woman Killed in Oxnard Motorcycle Accident on East Pleasant Valley Road near Laguna Road
Oxnard, California (June 23, 2020) – Authorities have identified Elva Andrade, 55, as the woman who was killed in a motorcycle accident that left a child seriously injured on Monday night in Oxnard.
The deadly accident occurred at about 9:15 p.m., on June 22, on East Pleasant Valley Road near Laguna Road.
A Yamaha scooter, operated by Andrade, collided with an Acura sedan, driven by Jacob A. Caliboso, 21, of Oxnard, on the roadway, according to the police.
As a result of the collision, Andrade and her 7-year-old passenger were ejected onto the roadway. Both victims were wearing helmets when the crash happened.

Andrade was pronounced dead at the scene.
The 7-year-old child was transported to Ventura County Medical Center with major injuries.
Caliboso was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of drugs and felony gross vehicular manslaughter.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
