Elk Grove Crash on Interstate 5 Freeway near Hood Franklin Road Results in Major Injuries
Elk Grove, California (April 14, 2021) – One person was hospitalized with major injuries after being involved in a rollover crash Wednesday morning in Elk Grove.
The Multiple-vehicle collision happened on the Interstate 5 Freeway at Hood Franklin Road at about 5:20 a.m. April 14.
As per the California Highway Patrol report, a BMW rolled over upon the impact.
Major Injury Elk Grove Crash
At least one victim sustained major injuries, including a head injury following the mishap. The patient was attended to by paramedics and then rushed to an area hospital for further medication.
Meanwhile, officials requested a tow truck to remove the damaged BMW away from the scene.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
